The Scottish Equestrian Centre is unique in Scotland. Our family run BHS approved centre was founded in 1985 and has a reputation for excellence.
Throughout this time, we have become both a BHS approved training and exam centre and been awarded 5 stars by VisitScotland. We are also a a 4 star B&B, with our single, double and twin rooms all providing luxury and comfort.
About Us
Modern, extensive facilities
Our facilities are modern and wide-ranging. They include:
- All weather riding in our Andrews Bowen Indoor Arena
- An Olympic size Andrews Bowen outdoor arena, complemented by a full set of high spec showjumps and rustic fences.
- A huge amount of green space within the complex for free riding
All of our fantastic coaches are highly experienced BHS professionals, with the expertise and knowledge to coach riders of all abilities, from tiny tots to competition and career riders.
We also offer horse riding lessons, group lessons, private lessons and mini lessons for 3-5 year olds.

Maureen is the founder, owner and centre manager of Scottish Equestrian Centre. Her love for horses and her job is second to none.
